When I was old enough to read and write my mom taught me how to do the office work. Invoicing, addressing envelopes, check registry, checking voicemails, etc.
But when I was tall and strong enough to use a push mower, my dad had me helping in the field as often as I could. He instilled in me a love of the outdoors, hard work, and customer service. He was all about the details and doing things the right way. I was his faithful helper for over 10 years. IN 2010 I turned 18 and it was my time to decide what career path I wanted to pursue; I decided on the only thing I knew how to do. Lawn Care & Landscaping. So, I went to the bank to open up a business account. When the banker asked me what I would call my business, I nervously said "Uhhh... A Woman's Touch Lawn Care & Landscaping?" She nodded and registered the name for me. In 2012, I went to College at Columbus State University and received my Landscape Design & Management Degree. I've been running my business for 13 years now and have learned so much. My passion for my career grows stronger every year and I strive to be better than the year before. Marysville has been the life blood of my business and I'm proud to call it my Hometown.

I also knew it would not be easy because when people thought of lawn care they thought of Scotts. which is who won every year previously.

I also knew it would not be easy because when people thought of lawn care they thought of Scotts. which is who won every year previously.
In 2017, after working my fingers to the bone, I finally received that award. I remember being overcome with emotions answering that phone call from Marie Woodford. I NEVER thought I would win it again, but we have for the last 7yrs. And every year I am still overcome with emotions and gratitude for the support of my Hometown.
